Pet Apps Ranked is our own opinionated list of the pet apps we like best. We're not an independent review board - we're a team that makes a pet app, and we're being upfront about it.
Who publishes this site
Pet Apps Ranked is published by Ghost Labs, the company that makes Everkin, the pet-care app that sits at #1 on this list. So the same team that picks the rankings also makes the app it ranks first. We think the honest thing to do is say that loudly, everywhere - not bury it.
What this list is (and isn't)
This is a subjective, opinionated list - the pet apps we'd actually recommend to a friend. It is not an independent, objective, or scientifically scored ranking, and it isn't run by a neutral third party. We use AI to help us research the field, but the picks - including putting our own app first - are our honest opinion.
We genuinely like every app on this list, and we try to describe each one fairly, including the things it does better than Everkin. What we will never do is take money to move an app up or down: no competitor pays for placement.
